From Time Immemorial to Today’s Melding
time-immemorial-tribal-sovereignty

We begin with a contrast of Federal, State and local governments compared to Indigenous Peoples’ (Time Immemorial pathways).  Information on Cascadia’s unique blending of cultures’ histories and use of ethnobotanicals is contained in over 300 lessons.  We end with a study of the future because there will be a future: 1) we will solve the challenge of humans potentially destroying their nest and 2) it will be the continued melding of cultures that continues to make America unique.  History Lessons contain introductions to the State’s Native Plants and Native Animals and are intended to excite the interest of elementary school youngsters, cement a lifetime interest among secondary youngsters, and provide pleasure and direction to those who live to old age.   We teach visually with remediation (for wrong answers) allowing students to learn from their mistakes.  This is the greatest gift of history to future generations, the learning from past mistakes.
