Glass Museum Collections (9040)

PLC has created 2 Collections of studio glass art for museum displays: A Legacy Collection holds single unique art pieces by Tamura, Chihuly, Moore, Morris, Mace, Kirkpatrick, Ruffner, Rossano, Marioni, and 100 other artists who founded and made the Pilchuck Glass School what it is today.  The 2nd is two unique Pilchuck Glass School Auction Centerpiece Collections, one found in Bonhoeffer Gardens (with many faux pieces to protect against theft) and the other 1+ now in secure storage.  It previously had been on display in Freeborn Church’s Bonhoeffer Hall (the Hall’s name has been changed and this display dismantled since this picture was taken). Public access awaits 2 separate Conditional Use Permit applications not yet scheduled. The Glass School, as these posts attest, is one of several reasons why this site at Exit 215 on the I-5 Freeway is so special.
