Experts say that reintroducing wolves along the northern Pacific Rim a very good idea. For some of us, the closest most might wish to get is the “Hour of the Wolf” that occurs for many at 3 AM. These species’ introductions are of the Grey Wolf found east of the Cascades, but we also have a Sea Wolf found on the northern shores of Cascadia. They swim like otters and fish like grizzly’s and are distinctly different in their DNA than other wolves, one the most widely distributed animal on Earth (other than humans). As with grizzly bears, one should show the greatest of caution around these animals.
