Western Burning Bush, also called Western Wahoo, is most likely found in areas that are moist and shady at mid-level altitudes. These are the only euonymus found on the West Coast, south from Southwest Washington. Their range is slowly moving north, and they grow along the streambanks next to Kiosk 15. Pilchuck Learning Center’s sponsored Western Washington State University SAM Project extinction possibility is slight, abundant to the south, native to Cascadia.
