Meadow Checkermallow, also called Oregon Checkermallow (Sidalcea oregana) is an herb and is found in open areas. A member of the Malvaceae Family, its range includes all of Cascadia. WWU SAM Project’s, with 10 observations, appears to find little chance of extinction. Meadow Checker-Mallow, also called Meadow Sidalcea, is most likely found in areas that are moist and open. A herb and a member of the Malvaceae Family, it grows by Kiosk 16. Pilchuck Learning Center’s sponsored Western Washington State University SAM Project extinction possibility is slight; abundant but found only in a small area of Cascadia.
