The Preschool, Gardens, and Farm celebrate diversity, inclusion, honor our ancestors, and focus on the belief that religion, because of the Bible’s first demand of mankind, is “to care for the Earth.” Religions shape beliefs, they should lead. If you believe, “not caring” for the Earth is not an option. We understand that many see no reason to change old beliefs or ways that are destructive. That said, this lesson is written in 2024, not the 1924 Stanwood as described in this local newspaper’s clip; 10,000 people attending a rally in what is now a Stanwood City Park.
