Here’s another one of these stumps.  This one is now found to the south of the Gardens in the northbound I-5 Freeway rest stop.  The photo was taken in 1920 when it was just north of its present location at Island Crossing on the Pacific Highway (8 miles south of the Gardens and Farm).  It is smaller than the Gardens stump, only 20 feet in diameter.
