Bonhoeffer Gardens showcase our 4 native firs, all members of the Abies genus and tree and a member of the Pinaceae Family. These are: the Pacific Silver Fir, the Sub-Alpine Fir, the Noble Fir, and the Grand Fir. The Douglas Fir (pictured in the background of the 4 fir species found at the Gardens double gate area) is of another family, a lone member of Pseudotsuga genus of the Pinaceae Family.
