Narrow Leafed Coyote Willow, also called Slender Sandbar Willow, is most found in areas that are moist and open. A shrub and a member of the Salicaceae Family, it was planted by Kiosk 02 (by shoving cut branches into the mud; it is self-rooting). Spreading by those roots, you now find it growing along the boardwalk to Kiosk 01.Pilchuck Learning Center’s sponsored Western Washington State University SAM Project extinction possibility is slight; abundant, also found in the Rocky Mountains with little chance of extinction.
